Debut Collection

I See You, I See Me

by Heather Krystecki

"Made me feel less alone"

This book is a collection of the darkest parts of my mind throughout my 20s. The ebbs and flows of my mental health journey and the journey to coming back to myself again. The themes include addiction, withdrawal, mental health, and recovery.

By sharing this I can release the feelings this journey brought up to move on into my future. I hope this collection of poems shows others that they aren't alone. There's still a stigma regarding mental health. It's hard for people to recognize what they cannot see, and mental health cannot always be seen. I see you and I believe in you.
